• The church is a vehicle through which people come to know the redemptive power of God.
• The church needs to be a community of faith which nurtures and empowers all people.
• The mission of the church should challenge us to to seek faith, freedom and focus in God for active service.
• The mission of the church can and should be designed to express openness to all people and make use of the gifts God has given us.
